Almond biscottis



1 3/4 cup of flour

2 tsp baking powder

3/4 cups of almonds cut in pieces

2 eggs

3/4 cup of sugar

1/3 cup of melted butter

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp almond extract

1/2 tsp almond zest

1 white egg lightly beaten

In a big bowl, add flour, baking powder and almonds. Beat the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, almond flavor and orange zest together. Add the flour mix and mix until it becomes a dough together.

Divide the dough in two and roll into 2 logs. Put white egg wash. Bake at 350 C.


When baked. Remove from oven. Let cool. Cut slices of the log- bake again at 300 C for 10-15 minutes until dry.
